Frame & finish guide
Choose the right paper, finish, and frame for the room.
Wandamark wall art is made to order in a small set of carefully chosen paper weights, canvas finishes, and framing options. Use this page to decide between an unframed poster, a framed print, and a canvas piece before adding to cart.
Posters — unframed prints
Posters ship flat or rolled and are printed on a heavier matte art paper that holds detail without strong glare. They are the lightest format to install, ship, and refresh, and they fit well in rooms that may change over the next year.
Choose a poster when you want a simple, swap-friendly install or when you plan to add your own frame from a framing shop.
Framed prints — ready to hang
Framed prints arrive ready to hang. The print is paired with a clean, neutral frame and protective glazing where applicable. Frames are chosen so the art stays the focal point instead of competing with it.
Choose a framed print when the room calls for a more finished presentation, when a guest-facing wall needs to look intentional immediately, or when the recipient should not have to handle framing themselves.
Canvas — statement pieces without glare
Where offered, canvas prints sit on a wrapped wooden stretcher and skip the glass surface, so they read well in bright rooms or rooms with strong overhead light. Canvas has a softer, more painterly texture than fine art paper.
Choose canvas for larger statement pieces, brighter rooms, or hospitality walls where glare and reflection are a concern.
Paper weight and finish
Wandamark posters and framed prints use a heavier matte art paper that resists glare under indoor lighting and keeps colors looking calm rather than over-saturated. The matte finish reads well in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and most office or hospitality rooms.
If a piece is being installed in direct sunlight or under strong overhead light, consider a canvas option where available, or pair the print with anti-glare glazing in your own frame.
How to choose between formats
Start with the poster if you want the lightest install and the flexibility to swap pieces as the room evolves. Move to a framed print when the wall is guest-facing and needs to look settled right away. Move to canvas for larger pieces, brighter rooms, or hospitality spaces where glare is a concern.
If you are still unsure, share a room photo and approximate wall dimensions on the contact page and we will recommend the format that fits the space.
